Cypher / pilotbear ..too funny!

An initial climb to a flight level that begins with a 4 along with your choice of starter, main, desert and beverage, ....why would anyone choose the airlines. OH, and direct routing ...its a no brainer isnt it?!?!

Cheer up benhurr, from the guys i know, the only reason that they are still airline pilots is because they are toooo far into it to leave now. Most of them while taxiing around look out at the corporate jets and wish!! So let them rant and be jealous, but quite frankly, I'm happy my RMI is a back-up instrument and that I'm not hot-bunking with my fellow crew member on the long haul red eye!!

Bon appettit!!!! ;-)

An RMI is a luxury! We have one aircraft with an RBI.

Still not envying the airline guys, behind armoured doors. Those that understand respect GA. Those that don't are aircraft operators, not pilots!

Well I remembered to take a cornish pasty, a pepperami hot and a geobar with me as well as a flask of coffee on the way to Liege the other day. And I had FL90 all to myself.
Mmm, 1 day... Caffeine can accomplish almost anything.

Here, here my brother!! I have been at it for over 30 years and I'm still surprised that I get paid to do something I would pay them to let me do.
It's a little bruising to the ego that the public refers to my King Air as a "little airplane." On the other hand my ego is somewhat healed by the fact that I am treated like a god, paid very well by any standard and fawned over like a member of the family I fly for.
I can not concieve of leaving my job. Mostly because I can not concieve of putting the lives of these people, who l have come to love and who love and trust me, in the hands of anyone else.
