LATCC PILOT DAY
Today I am a better pilot than I was yesterday!
Having spent a few hours at the LATCC Pilot Day I can honestly say my view of the Air Traffic Controller and how the LTMA works has a whole new meaning.
Doing a couple of sessions on a simulator was the most enjoyable part of the day and certainly made me realise the kind of pressure a contoller is under.
We also looked at some TCAS events and Level Busts, very scary stuff.
So to all you fellow pilots if you get the chance to go make the effort, even if you have to do it on a day off, it will open your eyes to a whole new world.
