I would have thought there would be numerous options for suitable charter aircraft in the UK - Titan Airways, Sterling Aviation, London Executive Aviation and many others operate King Air aircraft, for example.

The fact that the aircraft & skipper has to stay a couple of nights has killed the charter price wise.
Have previously used this avenue to run around France (Le Mans - St Ettienne etc) but has always been a day return for the team involved.
It's their own fault for not wanting to go in the company chopper then I'd be having a couple of days off in France instead of searching for an alternative!!
