Salary is crap (bottom of the barrel) £15k ish plus flight pay tops out 20kish. (I think) You will have to pay your own type rating for either C550B or C560XL.
Roster is a work of fiction. Leave impossible to get as are requested days off. Buggering about factor is high. No loss of licence, private medical, loss of licence or pension and despite a contracted salary review this never happens.
So if you are 1) financially independent and 2) have no life (ie no social scene or woman/man - being PC) then OK to think about it but honestly doesn't really make financial sense to me.
NB F/O's usually leave after a year (when they have the green book to jump to netjets) as little prospects of command. Fly about 400hrs a year on average.
For
Modern (EFIS & multicrew) A/C well maintained, some good trips, all exps paid down route. Either Dublin or BHX base.
NB Living Dub is expensive which needs to be thought about on a poor salary (paying off flying loans etc , putting bread and water on the table to feed the wife and 6 children - whom you will never see but then that may be a good thing - and pay the rent) unless you really are financially independent.
Good luck with whichever decision you make but in this buoyant market my advice don't rush into it.
