and WW2 - I take it is is no longer in use?

Humm …the one engine feathered low pass…an Airshow perhaps?
Reminds me a of a story told by a PBY Canso water bomber pilot ex-RCAF: Airshow in Canada RCAF Lanc makes a pass with two engines feathered on the same side…
RCAF PBY Canso then proceeds to do a “ high speed” dive and quietly pass the crowd line with both engine feathered followed by a very rapid unfeathering by the flight engineer up in his tower between wing and fuselage/hull a climb away to continue their display.
“High Speed” and PBY are not terms usually found in the same sentence! VNE is 170kts I believe…not seen very often. 110 in cruise is zipping right along.

Not a Shackleton, nor any of the airstrips mentioned - still visible but I don'tthink there are any aircraft movements these days
