Further clue..this was the first of a number models from this designer. First flew in 1983.

It is indeed the Christavia Mk1. Over 1000 sets of plans sold, although from what I can gather about 100 have actually been built or registered. Originally produced by Elmwood Aviation in Canada, it seems that Aircraft Spruce and Speciality now hold the design rights
