Thanks mate, Just had a quick look at Aerofiles again, but it isn't in there, or anything at all from Preceptor.
The codes are number(seats) p, Open or Closed high, low or mid wing Monoplane, Open Biplane or Close Biplane. So in this case, it would have been 1pOhwM. Tiz great if they have the code and even better if you have the engine make
!!
Have to sort summat out now, be a few minutes for another easy one!
Edit: Hard luck Ken, sleep well.
It's gonna be a whitewash mate innit

It is the IA.38 Naranjero - medium transport aircraft built by the Argentine FMA, designed by Dr Reimar Horten (while having an off-day), maybe he should have had the day off instead!!
Ugly bugger wasn't it, should have been French (who said that......) !!

G'day Graeme,
I've got the afternoon off for a change so a chance for a look at your latest.
Well; I dunno if you chose that one specially you cunning bugger, or you just struck lucky
!!
It is in Aerofiles; but the code is wrong! It says it's a two-seat open biplane (it's obviously closed) and there is no mention in code or the description that it's amphibious or a flying-boat
!!
So it took a bit of weeding-out
!! 'Tiz the Loening XSL-2R and a very good challenge to be sure ![Thumb](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/thumbs.gif)

Designed by the Canadian company Maple Leaf, 10 units were built in Mexico during 1940, and were equipped with the Warner Super Scarab 165 hp engine

Not when I found the Canadian cockpit,
I just fancied something that was American, but not from the USA; so when I was asked whether it was north or south of the States, I could say it was kinda both
!!
I then dug around a bit and found the Canadian Car and Foundry's Maple Leaf II trainer, which led me to the Mexican, 'twas a good theory, but not good enough though![Smilie](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Edit: Good call on the current cockpit mate!! Sleep well
