Thanks Ken,
It does look rather primitive in the flesh doesn't it
!
I haven't got much time or the software to give a nice silhouette, so this is a bit primitive too![Smilie](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Evening Trevor.
British? Three engines?
I was thinking Wesland Wessex but the tail is wrong. Maybe it changed with modifications? Google just wants to show the chopper.

G'day Graeme,
You got work today mate; I thought this one would be right up your street, bound to be in one of your books!
Three engines yes, but not British. It's very similar (in appearance) to one that we've had before and I think you posted it and I got it!

Afternoon shift today mate.
Lasco Lascondor. Just rolls off your tongue. Keep forgetting we made some aircraft...
VH-UMY
(The first AviaQuiz image for 2012 appears my time around 1100 hrs. Never happened before. American time?)

Like I said mate, right up your street (well, Melbourne's not that far away) ![Smilie](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/smile.gif)
It is the Larkin Aircraft Supply Co (Lasco) Lacondor
![](http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/n540/SincoSafe/LarkinVH-UMY.jpg)
It bore a remarkable similarity to the Kreutzer K-5 Air Coach which was developed about the same time.
It was claimed to be the first multi-engined aircraft designed and built in the Southern Hemisphere

No takers... the aircraft was a one-off European racer of the 1960's, designed by an air racing pilot. It is still in existance today. Some pictures show it without wheel spats.
