Morning Graeme,

Sorry, all Ithat's known is that it's post '45.

Strictly speaking the answer is already out of the bag and it only really need finding on the web. For that you really need to help Giggle out by using our dear friend Heikki's method of searching in the site's native language as motor-glider won't find it

Edit: just swapping houses, back in fifteen min!

Wow! Takes much longer here with banks, solicitors, inspections, cooling-off period - can take months.

searching in the site's native language
How do ya do that? I've got a search box (for text) then next to it is a little magnifying glass (search) and next to that is a picture of a little house (maybe that's for house swapping?).

(PS- Love to know how ya upload and post those YouTube clips too).

just swapping houses
Mental picture...man (elderly ) on the run from the police. Armed with a shotgun and systematically breaking into houses and using the occupants computer...to play silhouette challenge, briefly, then moving onto the next house.

Terrible life mate, give it up Trevor! Turn yourself in. I'm sure they have computers in prison.

All swapped and back now, we just have slick conveyancers here mate

How do ya do that?
Instead of searching for something in English when the likely location of the source is a site like Airwar or Aviafrance, where they don't have an English version of their site, I just use Giggle Translate to find out what, for example motor-glider is in German or Polish (the most likely sites for that kind of aircraft) and then copy and paste that word into the normal search box. Don't forget to check the Image tab too as it's easier to spot than a mass of Web pages!

You can then go one stage further by using the search whatever text inurl:Site url e.g. Pusher inurl:aerofiles.com will return a list of Aerofile entries with the word pusher in them in

Blimey, wasn't really expecting that! Must admit the only translator I've ever used is Babel Fish, which doesn't include a Polish translation option. Looks like I will have to expand my knowledge

Haven't got anything ready, so if you've got something Graeme, go for it

Incidentally Trevor, must admit I would never have thought of the TU-144 on challenge...mind you never been close enough to the back end of one...just assumed the engines were more Concorde like!

Enjoy the markets mate...perhaps you'll find a good book on Polish post-war motor-gliders

Well have just quickly prepared this one, so here goes:

Yes, it's another pusher...

Ken, I think that particular site (we were thinking of the same one?) also has a German version, so Motorsegler Rogala will also work! Not Tried Babel Fish, but I find Google Translate very useful and simple to use.

I agree about the Tu-144, which is why I chose it ! I think most peoples mental picture of it are from the front!

Off to take my little friend walkies now afore bed, so I'll wish you goodnight

No, I was using a different site which is in French or English, hence couldn't find any reference to the Rogala/Rogali motorglider. Now Graeme has posted the link I'll add that one to my list as well!
Incidentally, PM coming to you shortly re the TU-144.
Good night
