Neither of those, but they are both as close as Germany

Incidentally, Graeme was on the right track in that it flew for a national airline.

I'll go West then, towards Poland and what was Czechoslovakia.

Found something indistinct. Did the main gear struts attach vertically to the wing roots?

Thats east by my reckoning. On the basis Germany, France and Holland are equally close, that only leaves one country!!!
