Thanks LM!
Have something in the works, so if you all can bear with me for a while, I will come up with something.

One 11,
I saw you on the thread and thought you'll do what you then did.
LM said that the life expectancy of this challenge is less than ten minutes. You shot it down in three.
What can I say
?
All yours, Sir!
Edit to say that I have been posting two challenges today in two threads and their combined in-air time was barely 10 minutes. Phew what a day
.

merely an accident of timing but I do have one prepared which will probably confirm LM's forecast duration

Edited to say, reading back, I see that you've done it in a hurry, so it's pretty well done anyway

TC David told me to say to you that you should not be fooled.
And, you should not complain either. It was THE hidden clue
.
Edit to say that David also meant that you should not be fooled that I had made it. I hadn't, but I can assure you that it is a true and truthful representation of the original picture in the artist's hands.
Edit 2: e-mail cyberborne LM,

Well Reg, obviously I was fooled and I return humbled and apologetic! How could I think such a thing
!!
It all looks very odd and I don't think it's just the the angle of viewing, because you say it is THE clue!!
I did wonder if the interplane struts are just a single row at the rear of the wing chord, so that those on the nearer wing are hidden in the silhouette, but that's a configuration I've never seen before, so I jumped to my erronious conclusion, as the even less likely possibility that it could be an experiment, mixing strutted and cantilever construction, seemed just plain silly, surely not? Wossa going on there?
Single inline engine and is that a header-tank on the top wing? Pre or Post 1918? Another Aerofiles jobber?
Got to go again now, hope to get back later!

irishair2001, I have now difficulties to find the one that you are suggesting, but if you mean the French reconnaissance aircraft Dorant AR-1 of 1916, my challenge is not French.
