And searching for what precisely?

"Rare phucker (2 built) with American sounding name and flown in 1989"...?

Morning all,

Coffee time, and a quick search,

I now see the logic behind Ken's clues; The company is from Alaska, the A/c name is the Prospector (oil or gold).

As unlikely as it seems and I passed it over before work because of it, it's a mid-wing STOL

The Keller FK-1 STOL Prospector

Keller FK-1 STOL Prospector, N4XK, Private

Edited to say that I'll keep my light on and an eye open from time to time; did you recieve the images I sent the other evening LM, any order will do, but ascending order if possible!

Good morning David,

Images sent, thank you.

I found it by the use of SST (superior search technology)

Actually, I went through most of the likely candidates before work, so I revised what I was looking for in the light of Ken's clues that arrived later, namely the year and that it hadn't got an image, so I was able to skip most and look for the unlikely and something that fitted the State criteria, = bull**** baffles brains technology!

Good research Sinco . Yes its the Keller FK-1 Prospector STOL. I've identified at least 2 aircraft that were built, of which N5XK crashed, and N4XK remains, and is pictured on the web. Its described as a "bush plane" in some souces - doesn't quite fit the image in my book!

SincoTC has control
