Silhouette challenge
Good Challenge Bradenav. Did either of them get built, as I can't find any pictures or drawings of either?
Thanks Skytrain10.

Bonjour Richard,
Another good challenge!
Purely out of curiosity; this is what I found last evening
walter minor | 1956 | 0529 | Flight Archive
Here is what is said:
"Praga E-11. Designed by T. Slechta,
this multi-purpose light aircraft recently
won a design competition. It resembles the
Boeing L-15 in appearance, but has a
nosewheel undercarriage. There is sideby-
side seating for two people in front,
and a single rear seat. Duties originally
intended for the E-ll included agricultural,
ambulance, liaison and A.O.P. work.
A Walter Minor 6III engine of 160 h.p.
was fitted, but with this unit the machine
was found to be underpowered and production
was cancelled. The prototype is
being used for parachute jumping."
There were no illustrations and I couldn't find any more info in prior or subsequent articles, but the Boeing L-15 looked a dead ringer, so I wonder if it is the same aircraft as your challenge and I have fallen foul of another journalistic error in the designation![Ugh](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies2/eusa_wall.gif)
I really should have followed up on Mechta's following post, a quick look on Samoloty said that the 55 was a merlin powered fighter project but by then I had run out of time. Well done Mechta and skytrain

Thanks Richard,
I rather suspect it's a "Flight Typo" or badly read notes by the journo!
I should have smelt a rat when I looked at Samoloty because, although looking for and dismissing the E-55 as I said above, I didn't see any numbers as low as 11
Unfortunately there's a lot of duff information out there.

Thanks for the link Graeme ![Thumb](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/thumbs.gif)
Very familiar territory mate, didn't see anything like our latest "all singing and dancing" combined milling/turning "Boys Toy", but very interesting detailed shots. Pity about the finish on the logo close-up, looking at the code, I'd say he's maxed out on spindle speed due to the size of the machine as the engraving tool is only doing 6000 RPM, we'd go for at least 15000 'coz we do mainly smaller work and have high-speed spindles with cooled ceramic bearings.
Oh well, break's over now, let's see what treats from Richard await
