Really...thought I'd seen it quite recently...can't remember where of course! Were there 2 of those scoop like things at the front...or I may be confusing it with something else!

It could be called that, but several were built and it has flown.

There were several versions and I'm not sure which one this is.

However, the manufacturers' designation was the same for all apart from minor suffixes.

Thinking in the wrong direction...is this the Lockheed D-21 drone that the SR-71 (and B-52) carried at one point?

Some of the aerial thingeys seem to vary, but it looks like the Seabird Seeker SB7L-360 to me.

Sorry guys, but it will have to be an Open House if correct as I haven't had time to send anymore to LM, besidedes which, I'm going to be in a meeting all afternoon.
