Not sure why but the other thing that comes to mind is Swearingen. Didn't they have a project for a larger machine than the Metro?

Sorry guys, been working.
RR....there is a connection with the IL-114, but its not from Russia. That should serve as a good clue.
Not a Swearingen or a Saab design.
The engines are not PT-6's.

Good evening skytrain,
Is it the CASA 3000 ? I believe this was a sort of hybrid with Il-114 fuselage and Saab 2000 wings, only found a provisional drawing for it so far and the horizontal tail has no dihedral.

Well done Sinco , it is the CASA 3000, which was to use a stretched IL-114 fuselage with Saab 2000 style wings. Engines were to be Allison GMA2100's. Subsequent to posting I have found this Flight article:
casa | saab | singapore airlines | 1991 | 2552 | Flight Archive
Not had it before to my knowledge Martin....its not on Mel's list.
All yours Sinco.

Thanks skytrain,
That's the article that I found, but as I said, the tailplane looks different as does the rear end of the nacelles in the plan view, but it was only a provisional layout, I just found another later article where they were still wind-tunnel testing, but again no drawing.
I'm afraid that it will have to be another Open House please as I'm off line now 'til tomorrow; so I can't monitor anything that LM is good enough to put up for me and he doesn't have the answers!
Cheers guys, hope to see you tomorrow sometime.

Thanks LM,
Your post, just came up as I logged out, so I had to have a quick look as it's so oddball, would it really piss you off if I find it in the next couple of minutes before I have to go??
Oh well, you haven't said it would, so here goes
The Aviasud Mistral PH-2F6 ? Can't find your picture though, but OH if correct.
I'll get me hat, coat and shut the door....

People who piss me off are bad wingmen who don't listen to the brief and think they are better than me. That's why they are wingmen!!!
