A good challenge Martin...and another new name to add to the ever growing list of manufacturers. Thanks for the history....interesting stuff.

STOL Cub
It may be STOL and this one may look like a Cub, but does not bear the name STOL Cub.

Mmmm... we are down to guessing. The only distinguishing feature that I can see is an extended spine? Am I seeing it correctly? It is significant to the mod thaet this machine has had (assuming it started out as a Cub)

Morning chaps...

There is indeed an extended spine which is the most obvious external feature (some variants of this aircraft do not have the spine). The aircraft is NOT a converted Cub, but an entirely new build aircraft based on the Cub design. It falls in to the LSA category.

The manufacturer refers to it as the Zlin Savage.

Well done LM, it is the Zlin Savage Classic.

A modern day Piper Cub, its produced in 3 different models from the Zlin factory in the Czech Republic (although originally designed in Italy). The Savage Classic is the only one that features the spine that distinguishes it from all those Cub look-a-likes out there. There are now over 200 flying throughout the world. Production continues.

All yours David.
