Is it an early Pterodactyl design, or could it be connected with Shorts 'aero-isoclinic' wing design? It has elements on both of those

Also the drawing is a bit confusing to my simple brain. The plan seems to show the leading edge extending ahead of the nose, but the side view does not

I can see there is a sort of 'decking' demarkation line which matches the plan view, but I can't figure the actual shape of the nose (not that it would make any difference to me knowing what it is )

Hello

It's a continental european bird of the middle-thirties.

The three views is not outstanding ,but shows enough for the ID;the upper view shows only the cockpit and front covering .

Good search
Richard

It s a bit like one of Alexander Soldenhoff's designs, but I can't match it to any in particular.

it would appear to be the unflown Soldenhoff S5

If correct Open House please as the Reindeer are double parked!

It seemed to be the only variant that I couldn't find any pictures of, but I have just found this:

Flugpionier Soldenhoff Böblingen-Flughafen

I agree with SincoTC, I've just found a picture of it in a Lucern Museum.

Thanks LM, Here's a little image that looks like something else. I looked on the list for the model and didn't even see the manufacturer. So here goes

Wot? No manufacturer?

Holy mackerel....

High wing without anhedral! Long live Dutch Roll. (maybe not since limited sweepback. Big high bypass turbofans - design can't be that old.

Nice looking though, so can't be French - maybe Australian....
