Sorry to keep you waiting Chaps, I fell asleep.

The Federov 5-plane it is.

E. S. Federov came up with the idea for his “5-plane” in 1895. He first tested a non-powered model and then, in 1896, started building a full size aircraft. The aircraft no tail unit, control was to be by twisting the wings. The aircraft was finished in 1903, but was not flown. It was the second full sized, powered aircraft built in Russia.

skytrain10 has control.

Thanks S'land. An interesting challenge. Have to admit I doubt I would have got there without the clues.

Lets have something a little newer:

Didn't that have a V-tail?

The B-101 kept the wings and V-tail of the Magister combined with new fuselage. But they soon found out that the need for a cruise speed of Mach 0.8 didn't match up with the wings and tail of the Magister, so redesigns followed that involved five major configurations. One of them was a trijet.

Project was canceled in May 1963 before any metal was cut.

Good morning. Bradenav has it, it is the Bedek B101C business jet from the 60's. I believe construction had started on the prototype when it was cancelled. A picture of the mock-up appears below.

You have control Richard.
