A LITTLE help!! but a very good challenge.

I was suprised to find it still unsolved this morning, but I think the PPRuNe site was down for some time, I certainly couldn't get on line for my little bit of mental exercise after work last night!

FEIRO "DONGO"

If nobody beats me to it, "Open House" as I'll be offline 'til Monday soon.

Is that V-tailed or twin-finned please? It certainly seems to have a French feel about it.....

RR. If you wrote "what is this please", it is a strut.

OK, thanks........ but this raises more questions for me. I guess a planform would explain things (and that's why you haven't shown one?) If it is a strut, what for? Attached to what? Sorry but for me it isn't clear... Thanks again, RR

It is a wing strut. And you are probably right about the planform.

one11 has control.
The planform would reveal too much. Like the registration.

Like RR, the first photo of F-WFAN I found had fixed gear and diamond shaped fins but then I found another like the challenge view. Certainly another odd French experimental but also an ancestor of the Shorts Commuter line - the lineage being, HD-10 > Miles HDM.105 Aerovan variant > Skyvan > SD330

Wonder how long this will last......

Italian at a first guess..... Although I'm also drawn to Romania/Bulgaria, no idea why!

I suspect that the engines will be a prime clue but I'm having difficulty in placing them. The tail unit, particularly in the vertical plane is familiar too!
