Well well skytrain.

The first response of the day.

Not from Letord I'm afraid, and I can't find it on the web. Cluetime very shortly - I'm waiting for the usual suspects to check in.

OK guys, cluetime.

This biplane was American and from the 20's The manufacturers were once in the lumber trade. An engineer who was involved in the design was originally from Slovenia and once authored a book titled "Wood Technology". He later worked for Curtiss.

His name should lead you to the manufacturer, since the aeroplane model sometimes contains his name.

Chicago.

I can see that I will have to reveal it very soon.

The silhouette fits the description of the Elias-Stupar Twin, also called Elias ES-1, built by G. Elias & Brothers Inc. in 1922.

I do, but I got it from my books which are at work and I'm on a week off.

I'll go in tomorrow and come back to you.

If you have nothing to post, then I am very happy to PM one to you, including of course it's ID. Then I won't play.

Coming. What you could call a "natural silhouette".

Is it the Ksoll Breslau 1924?

Interesting "factoid"

Joseph Ksoll was a creamery owner who
owned several wing patents. On his 1924
Breslau, the pilot could change the angle
of incidence of the lower wing.

If correct "Open House" as I'm off home soon!
