No, I was thinking that it is strikingly similar to the IAe 30 Nancu (wings mainly) and also about the German ties of that country...

Edit: by "too much land" do you mean "too big a country" or "too little sea around it"?
Because, if it's the second and Europe and Japan are out, I can only imagine it's been built in Madagascar, Sri Lanka, Cuba, Taiwan and few others...

Hello Reg!
I've read you're enjoying a "cold" vacation!

Re the challenge I've found a picture in "American Attack Aircraft Since 1926" and it's at least very similar, so you have my vote to support the id.

Hi TC and HP!

Long time ago LM forecast that it would be by end-June.

I wish I could work with the challenges, too, but need to wait another two weeks to that.

Gentlemen, you are a great bunch!

Hi HP,

This looks pretty conclusive; note the rounded protrusions visible in the silhouette!!

Thanks Reg,

Look forward to seeing you back, but enjoy your break and the grand-children

I think that this is the 29 thousandth reply !!

BTW; I think that we have enough evidence to award evansb control of the thread, everyone agree??

Hi TC,
then this is even more conclusive.
Only things missing are the two bulges between the fuselage and the engines (I thought those were some kinds of gear bays, like some Italians and that Saab that's on the tip of my tongue but I can't recall at present) and there are two protrusions near the wingtips instead of one (but that's maybe because there are two left sides as the "right" side as seen from the tail is portrayed from below), so very minor details.

Edit: in short, I agree
Nite all!

Nite HP

Edit: in short, I agree
I think in the light of buttrick's considerate post #28990. I'll declare by proxy that evansb is the winner of his challenge and has control of the thread
