Is there a Rutan connection?

The other question would be manned or UAV?

Lightning One back on CAP.

Looks like it has an under-fuselage ducted propulsion system.

Well, I can't see a prop!

Answers in no particular order:
Manned...yes
Rutan connection...not that I am aware of
Under fuselage ducted propulsion...no. Pusher prop at the rear.

My source mentions neither! You'll have to reach your own conclusions.

Then where is it on the silhouette mate?
Rotating I guess. In fact part of the prop is visible just above the fuselage in the photo that I used.

See! They must love you.

Now: Is this a kit, one-off, or a production aircraft?

Not a one off. Available either complete or as a kit. Offered for military as well as civil customers.

LM...the prop is visible from this angle only when one blade is in the vertical or near vertical position. If you apply some logic to that you can work out the design of the aircraft!!!
