Sktrain10, thanks for the nice welcome. You will oblige me if you can post a new one allowing me to figure out how to post my own silhouette.
Thanks in advance

Image Posting on PPRune - some tips for you

Walter-Karl...you're welcome. Hope you enjoy your time here.

The rules of the forum are that it is up to the person who has submitted the silhouette, in this case Noyade, to confirm whether or not you have correctly identified the aircraft. If you have it is your opportunity to post or, declare "Open House" which then allows anyone to post a silhouette.

I say all that as I am not in a position to post an image. However as LM has said, if you look at the tips for image posting thread I am sure you will get the hang of it. Any probs please feel free to drop me a Personal Message and I will take you through the process.

LM...we will indeed. I'm sticking with WK's suggestion for now. The tailplane does not look right for the Curtiss XBTC-1 (or -2 for that matter). I'm just having one last look though....!

Hi everyone, Sorry, I've been in and out today. Yes, this is the XBTK-1 but, as Skytrain10 says, we need Noyade to confirm. RR

Er... aren't we waiting for Noyade and then, as it appears, it'll be Walter-Karl's turn to offer something? RR

xchox,

"If anyone get's this... well... i'll be amazed!"

Be warned - there are some very sharp cookies on this thread, excluding me.

Il 103 it is.

We await WK with interest.

I feel that Skytrain should take the helm because he identified the Ilyshin Il-103 from xchox.

Does everyone agree?

I agree with LM.

Welcome to the thread WK and xchox. It is good to see new blood.

xchox, I am afraid that you got it wrong, myself excluded there are some very knowledgeable people on this thread. What you should have said (as I always do) is: "If people Don't get this I'll be amazed".

Thank you LM. Part of me thinks we should wait for xchox to confirm, but there again that positing was outside of the competition. So on that basis, here's one, which I do not expect to last long!

And if I may echo S'land's comments, welcome to the forum xchox.
