Cannot get rid of a picture of Dornier-335 in my mind . Would there be som kind of a connection, like a Argentine civil version of Dornier ?

Abend Reg,

As far as I can tell, the only connection with the Dornier-335 is its engine layout! Not from Argentina.

I'd ask the role: civilian or perhaps a COIN, but I am turning in now and will be back in the morning.

Good night gentlemen.

sorry about the previous cock-up. I shall desist from enterring unless I have the whole day free.i had to go to the dentist for impressions to get a new crown fitted, then I had the usual 'puter palaver, trying to get a Usb radio stick to work, to no avail;by this time it was time for workand you'd already moved on.

Not to worry mate, these things happen. I think the main confusion arose from your post that seemed to indicate you'd be around for two and a half hours before you had to start work and then you promptly dissapeared!

As you see, if we can get a couple of regular players to confirm a guess as correct and it seems unlikely that the challenger is going to return for some time, then we award the thread by proxy and keep things moving!

Where it can bog-down and cause frustration, is where it's a very elusive challenge and clues are required, or the answer is not clear cut and unambiguous, so it is always best to try and arrange things so you can monitor it, but even the best laid plans can go awry!

Like I said, you do seem to pop up at odd times and we aren't too sure of what your working day is (day or night), can you confirm that you are in Nepal and not Saudi (which would be Dharhan).

G'day Stig and Buttrick.

Trev, it looks like something I posted a while back, the Aero Design DG-1...? There are two listed on Mel's great list.

Maybe not?

Garber (Aero Design) DG-1

Oh crap!!!

G'day Graeme

I did check the list for "Garber (Aero Design) DG-1" and didn't find it, then Garber on it's own (nothing) and finally DG-1, I was in a hurry to find something and go, but how I didn't spot those two entries I don't know, I'd swear it said no matches, but I just found them now

Thanks mate, no excuses though! It had better be null and void and an Open House, got anything for us?
