Clock stopped!!

I knew it wouldn't last with you online mate!! Just had time to reply to your PM and it was gone

Seven minutes though, so no record!

It was a sort of clue as it established a world air speed record of 375.132 km/h (233.096 mph) in 1923

It is the Nieuport-Delage Sesquiplan , (officially, without the "e" I believe, although how that little aerofoil between the wheels qualify as a wing beats me)!!

Noyade has control

Thanks mate.

Another early start tomorrow? Time for bed?

A) I have no challenge - open house. We both depart.
B) You post another challenge.
C) I declare open house but find something later today, if no one posts.

Multiple choice mate, you pick.

I will be working an evening shift today and not back till approx. 2100 hrs.

Morning Mate.

I've been through the obvious - bomber, recce, liason.

Either the engines are very large radials or the aeroplane is smaller than we think.

Can't play all morning. We are invited to the launch of the new Mercedes SLK convertible.

(buy cheese in France and cars in Germany)...

I've also noticed something different about it.

It seems to have two sets of ailerons with balance tabs on the inboards.

Very unusual.

There are split trailing edge flaps 14 ft. 4 in. long and 2 ft. 7 in. wide, starting at the fuselage with ailerons directly outboard of these in two sections and reaching almost to the wing tips

..............???

That was Tachikawa Ki-74 PATSY from 1944, may have been the one in your report, but that is not the challenge (wrong tail ).

Graeme said he wouldn't be back until 2100 hours, which must be his time.

That will be about 1200 Prune time.

That's two of us clueless then.

I have been looking at the Mitsubishi Type 100 twin row radial, which has a passing resemblance to the Wright Cyclone.
