Well thought skytrain!

It is Miles M.17 Monarch G-AFJU

Aviastar says "An improved model of the M.11 was developed with three-seat accommodation and flown as the M.17".

Over to you

PS: maybe the rudder is a bit deflected and/or the poor contrast in the picture has caused the trailing edge silhouetted a bit too straight…

Thanks RegDep. It will have to be Open House due to work commitments.

In fairness it was the straight trailing edge of the tail that lead me to the M16 and then M17. Most of the others have a more curved trailing edge.

It's been Open House far too long.

That kind of gear I have seen recently. It was Russian then. Is yours Japanese?

Scrap that: Curtiss 73 XF12C-1

Not Japanese, or Russian.

Edit:

Yes, Curtiss XF12C-1.

You have control, Reg.

I know it was not exactly, but have yet to find the type. Maybe this was not built?

Funny, PPRuNe changed my all-capital spelling to sentence literation…..

How about

Edit: Croses EC-9 Para-Cargo

Edit 2: I see I was beaten when editing

Hi Ton,

Thanks, but it looks like Reg got it first !!

Edit: Ah, I see, it was an edit, I didn't see RD's original, I just posted and went to double check my latest on Mel's list and found it under a name variation and when I came back I saw Reg's post without his later edit!

Therefore, as I now haven't got one ready, and have to leave soon, I'd better say, sorry Reg, please accept my Open House

No, I didn't get it first. I was still looking for another type when you posted the correct one, TC!
