Hi Ken. Yes, it was European. Clue: a military machine.

Yes, sorry Reg. Bristol-Siddley was one of three options. It was aimed to be a ground-attack machine, similar to an A-10. Further clue - had tandem mainwheel undercarriage and outriggers under the wings. RR

Just using the clues, and having nothing better to do tonight than search Google for any sort of European attack aircraft.

But let's wait for RR to give it the

Welcome back to the thread Ton, what a find, well done!

I've been rather busy since my trip away during the week and my look at this one via the engine clue this evening, was I now know, frustrated by a typo describing the engine as an SB.358 so my searches for applications using the BS.358 came to naught!

No doubt Reg will have noted that once again the same Wiki (Spanish) entry, contains no reference at all to the Tandem U/C or outriggers and what details are present don't return with a search on the English version Makes searching Airwar in Russian a doddle!

Let's hope Martin returns soon with his verdict, and wheressa LM then?? It seems like he's exchanged his Merc for a Huff and driven off in it

Evening all and welcome back ton - good call on the HA.500 - subject of course to RR confirming.

And Trevor, good to see you back. The thread has been somewhat quiet, particularly lacking the banter from LM and coffee breaks from someone else . LM appears to have called it a day, which is a shame, but there again these fighter pilots just have no staying power!

I'll check in in the morning to see if matters have moved along.

Good night

Guten Tag Reg

Dunno what'e happened to Martin!! As it well past twelve hours since his last posting and it's pretty obvious that ton is correct; I suggest that we award the win to teusje, who will I'm sure be online pretty soon and hopefully put up a new challenge. How do you feel about that?

Edited to say, goedemorgen ton, I see your light is on, do you have anything to post? If you have, I would like to hear from Reg, so we have a consensus, but I'm pretty sure he'll agree (pity it rolled over to a new page) F5 gents

Good morning TC and Ton,

I agree that we can go on, I don't think Martin will mind, and I am convinced that Ton has it.

Edit 2: I second you TC!

Thanks for the response ton and your patience, that's great

I need a second for my proposal as it's not strictly per the guidelines, but it is as we've discussed and needs a second opinion, so any players lurking out there, Ken, Graeme or even David

Edited to say, Thanks Reg My bly connection has needed re-booting every few minutes, so my responses are a bit awry!!
