THE SHORT ALL-METAL LIGHT FLYING BOAT

This one is for you LM
I just followed up your lead.
The pitot typical for test flight.
It was "nearing completion" in 1924, I wonder what became of it, to trace the pics in flight.....

Shoot. We stalled.
Anyone interested in confirming, or shall we wait until Graeme is back?
It should go to LM, but I don't think I am qualified to confirm. And I have not found it flying, either....

I have now looked at them both carefully, and conclude that skytrain has it.
I have also located Graemes' photo image, complete with the white line running down the right side of the picture.
I am sure that Graeme would be somewhat miffed if we did not keep the thread going - he would have been expecting it since he signed off before it was identified.
Therefore we must give control to skytrain.![Big Grin](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies2/eusa_clap.gif)
All yours mate.

'Artoon all,
Contrary to skytrains post #23074, this is my first time online today, due to dog duties etc, I'm just taking five to catch-up with what's been going on, while she's busy eating her afternoon meal and before another walk!
I agree with you carrying on without Graeme's confirmation and wonder if his comment that accompanied the first view of his challenge
was an indirect hint at a Short Cockle, or maybe that's just my dirty mind ![Smilie](https://www.pprune.org/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Oh well, love to play, but gotta go now, catchya later
