Looks thin. Cardboard cut-out?!

That's ridiculous!

Null and void Ken! Null and void I say!

Towed and unmanned mate - needs an awful lot of lateral stability...

I made those things outta the backs of Kelloggs Cornflake packets as a kid. I think they still sell them made out of Styrofoam.

It certainly looks like one...there are other pictures showing a wooden frame though. This was only a wind tunnel model though, not the real thing.

Correct LM....other pictures show a variation with a swept wing.

So you know its purpose, so it should take a few mins to work out what its called!

Furthermore I think it was designed to be used for air-to-air gunnery, not ground-to-air anti-aircraft gunnery.

Done some of this you know.........

I swear to God Reg I was gonna ask Ken about the tail. It looked like a dogs mouth with a Frisbee in it. You know what I mean? Two vertical planes at 90 degrees to each other...just like those Styrofoam models.

He wouldn't be called the Stig otherwise!

Then again he has a lot of page reading to get to this point. Could be a while!

Not far off is it Graeme? When you did that picture last night/this morning I figured you were already on to it!

Do I really have to name the manufacturer....there's only a few that we haven't already ruled out!

Edit to say, don't worry, I was only winding you all up about the Stig
