Morning Guys,
McKinnie 165
Well done Reg, my coffee was just too late this morning!!
Just as well really as my sleeve is empty and going to be busy for the rest of the day, will try and look in at breaks though.

Mate I know that the whole gear is retractable form various sources, but which way the main gear retracts, I don't know. I does not show in the pictures that I have seen (both flying and on ground).
Edit to say that now I have seen a low-resolution picture of its belly, and it is possible that they retract sideways inwards.

Coffee time and a few questions!
If the main gear retracts inwards (and they probably extend a bit with the weight off them), they must be fairly widely spaced to avoid the wheels colliding on retraction. So is the gear mounted in fairings on the side of the fuselage, or is that wide enough anyway (how many seats does it have). With a narrow cabin, I suppose the pivots could be skewed so they miss, but I doubt it!
Is it a homebuilt? Not American?
Edited to say, before I go back to work a final question, should we be looking for that grassy field, or is that a fictional result of your photoshop skills??

TC, I do not know the details of the aircraft, but have asked the gear question per e-mail from the designer. He has not responded yet. Probably the aircraft is a bit wider than you think. The legs may also be bent a bit differently than one thinks.
Six people can ride on it. American homebuilt.

Thanks for the answers Reg,
Just finished work now, so a chance for a quick trawl before I go home, a six seater homebuilt shouldn't be too hard to find (famous last words)
