Don't worry Lightning Mate your turn will surely come.
Contestants of this thread are so competent that they come out with aircraft types you don't even know they ever existed.
You are going to have certainly better chances than a chump like me....

P.S. Ask for clues....

Thank you Carson.

So far Mel is the only one to have taken up my offer.
The one you have just posted would have taken about 90 minutes to re-do.

Reminds me of the Aero 3.

Lightning Mate, next time I log on I'll PM you some line drawings to "blacken". Thanks for the offer

Noyade,

All my drawings are constructed from scratch, and the software ensures the greatest accuracy. I do not "blacken" or modify a line drawing - if that's what you meant.

PM whenever you wish old chap.

Carson 1934,

Polish?

Noyade and Diesel Addict you are both right (the Aero 3). Now since Noyade got there first (it took him only 26 minutes) so he leads the way...unless you agree to exceptionally pass on the torch to Lightning Mate who is a newcomer to the forum and has, so he says, tons of silhouettes to upload (or download I've never understood the semantic difference)

No offence meant LM, just unaware of the technical process and terminology.

PM whenever you wish old chap.
Done!

Carson

I'll just make it "open house".

Gentlemen,

I am unable to accept open house until several of you agree.

I have a new idea. I have constructed nine new silhouettes which are not listed in Mels' painstakenly constructed list, and which are rare/not very well known aircraft.

I have absolutely no chance of posting them all since nine "open houses" is stretching the imagination!

Accordingly, I offer six to you all. The first six PMs will receive one each, with brief explanation/history.

It is, of course, possible that you may regard this as being outside the forum etiquette, in which case I withdraw the offer.

With best regards,

Lightning Mate

Oh, and in case you are wondering about my age, I first flew the Lightning in 1968........

.....why is Mach 2 such a small number.....?

Good grief!!
I lasted 54 minutes....

Noyade and one11 are both correct, but Noyade was one minute ahead.

Sorry one11, but that one minute means that Noyade has control.

This thread is good innit.
