Apologies to Lightning Mate, sorry for bending the rules - it wont happen again
RegDep,
without hijacking hesham's control of the thread too much...
There are one or two silhouettes and and artists impression in existance on the web but I cannot remember now what keywords I used in Google to find them - the aircraft is unfortunate in sharing its name with a much more well known aircraft. It was one of the pet projects of a very eminent scientist.
Regards,
Matt

One of our rules is that it must be imaged or referenced on the web so that everyone has a fair chance of finding it.
Please stay with us.
I rather think that, if we don't hear from hesham by some time this evening, I shall open house the thread. A dead thread is not fun at all and kills its' spirit.

Evening chaps. Well I finally manage to log on but no challenge despite some green lights....?
Edit, well looks like everyone has gone....kind of ironic after declaring Open House due no response from someone!
Flying home tomorrow so will look in again on Saturday. Night night.

Also, If you want to play fully and issue a challenge, then you have to be prepared to stick around and monitor it, otherwise, as happened the other day, the thread is stalled again for hours and everyone gets upset, so play your part and we can all have fun
The guideline "Rules" are here if you need to check them http://www.pprune.org/aviation-histo...est-lists.html

I don't know of many twin-engine combat aircraft like this that only have a single fin, so is you're challenge an AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-kuo ??

Good Morning and thanks LM,
I thought it could only be that 'coz of all the F-CK-1ng missiles hanging on it!!
Now for something a little more sedate!
Off to work in half an hour, will put light on again when I get there.

Just a test, I seem to have downloaded it, but I can't go to next page and If I repost it said it was a duplicate and spits it back. Maybe this'll unstick it!
Edited to say Yipee it did, but why does it always F-CK- you about when you're in a hurry

It's not classified as a motor-glider in my source, but as the intention was to minimise the cost of amateur flying, I guess it needed to be pretty efficient and somwhet miserly on power requirement.
PS. Got your 'phone message OK
