621andy's challenge
Former RAF Gatow, Germany. Situated in the western outskirts of Berlin, the disused aerodrome is now home to the Luftwaffe museum. Suburban residential development is taking place on the western edge of the airfield.

Somewhere in the Sultanate of Muscat and Oman? Salalah?
BTW, I would have said that the aircraft in front is an F27, not a Convair 640 (as in the pic's title). The Twotter in the background is probably a clue to those who can interpret it. I don't think the F27 is one of Gulf Air's, though, although the tailfin looks a bit like that. It's an Arab-type colour scheme, though.

It's not a Fokker F-27, it's a Fairchild FH-227 of Mohawk airlines at Keene NH
The FH-227 has airstairs which are just visable in the pic.
Open floor as I will be away for the next few days.

Here is a picture my daughter took on our holidays this year. It is in a beautiful location, but tricky with a strong on-shore wind!

Perranporth Airfield
Yes, that was quick, Perranporth it is. Good fun in a light aircraft with a stiff westerly wind!
If I am lucky enough to recognise another mystery airfield again, I will try to make my photo more obscure. Over to you

621andy's challenge
Is that a Sabena DC-6B or DC-7C on the extreme left of the photograph and a unidentified Viscount on the right? If Sabena then those colours date the photograph about 1960s.
