Far more complex than Nav lights!

Was the vehicle driver wearing his ASIC card in an approved manner?

There's an obvious mistake in the caption for that photograph. The ute is actually rammed under the engine propeller.

(With apologies to Effie.)

Top bit of journalism from 7!

Will the Jetstar Cessna be a write-off?

Are the propellers on a Jetstar plain carbon fibre or sustainable timber?

Was the safety car on a treadmill?

It does look like the towbar is attached and somebody is on headset at the end of that cord. Or maybe they put it on after the Airbus dodged the school and found a clear vehicle to land on.

All jokes aside, the ute driver was taken to/maybe admitted to hospital and the ute is a write off.

With a tow bar and tug attached it appears to have already been under tow, which gives it the right of way.

I'm confused. In what circumstances wouldn't it have right of way??

One newspaper I read said the Ute driver was uninjured which allowed me to laugh at all the comments
The Ute being a write off will surely be insignificant compared to the cost of the engine lip and the associated pipes? Anyone with Engineering experience have an idea of what will be involved in repairing it? Or what it costs to keep a machine out of the air for a week?
Another question while I’m on a roll, how does insurance work in situations like this?
