Post LHR Runway Changeover

While killing time today at LHR I noted that the landing runway was changed from 27R to 27L at 5.50pm (and obviously the take-off runway vice versa).

Is the time honoured 3pm changeover a thing of the past now ?

No, under normal circumstances the alternation on westerlies still takes place at 3pm.

Must have been either a delayed change from 3pm or a change for other operational reasons.
