Hi again.

I was wondering if anyone knew the stages of transferring my Australian ATPL (to be not yet), into one that is recognised in Europe. The cost? and how to do it?

Thanks

Cam, if you don't have a full Aus ATPL with 500 hours multi crew it is very expensive.
You need to do the JAR ATPL theory. ie 14 exams and the ground school.
Course: about £2-4000
Fees: £718
Budget 6 months study at £100 a week
You also need to do a full JAR instrument rating. ie 55 hours. You may get 5 hours off.
Any where from £9,000 to £13,000
MCC rating: £2-4,000
So, as you can see it isn't a cheap option IF you don't have 500 hours 2 crew and a full ATPL.
Hope this helps.
The medical isn't cheap at £400.
