Aaaah ! ... shades of conversion course flying programme cancellations !
The Seaking 'problem' triggered a memory from Boscombe days. I was requtred to be 'signed out' for left hand seat 'split engine throttle control' and while we were thus engaged, my test pilot checker mentioned a peculiarity of the Seaking u/c - if problems occured with operatng, first run the windscreen wipers. ! ! ! Most of my limited Seaking time was in the cabin and I never had a chance to cross check with anyone else.
Can Crab@ or similar confirm the above , or was I mislead ? :confused:
