Sad memories. I helped teach Rick to fly the Gazelle at AFTS and he was an excellent student and a very pleasant chap to teach. I know I will have worked with a number of the passengers, too, during my time in NI.

May all who were lost Rest In Peace. 30 years on and the families are still being snubbed by the MoD. Disgraceful.

Well done the head of MI5, who made the trip to Kintyre yesterday. Other Heads were notable by their absence.

Lots of international press coverage, with MoD issuing a statement at odds with its admissions after the Mull of Kintyre Review, and now denying the report's content. While, bizarrely, now saying it accepts it in full.

I just wonder if the present CAS made the journey to Kintyre for the Service, can anybody say yes or no?
