Visiting BA HQ Waterside

I have to visit Waterside on business in E weeks time and am aiming to arrive/leave by taxi or lift with a friend. What are the drop off and pick up arrangements at Waterside House? I have been told to use the staff shuttle and have a letter to get me a ride on it from my host but would prefer to travel direct. Have tried to contact my host but she is now on holiday. Any ideas please people?

There is a security barrier on the road before you get into the Waterside complex, so without showing them a reason [ie letter from host] why you want access, you will not get past that, after that there is another security check actually in the foyer of the building where your host will be contacted to meet you and then escort you to wherever your meeting is going to take place within the complex.

If arriving by air the staff bus you mention stops in the bus terminal of Terminal 5 [runs about every 20 minutes] and the bus can also be caught from the bus stop area outside Hatton Cross underground station.

Whatever route you go you will need a letter to show either the bus driver or security at Waterside.
