Hello everyone,
I am myself a pilot (A220) in Europe.
my daughter wants to become a pilot as well. She is fortunate enough to hold a European and a Canadian passport.
I understand (correct me if I am wrong): 1/ theory is easier in Canada
2/ you can start an ATPL training once you turn 17 in Europe and therefore you can get a frozen ATPL when you are about 19 and fly an airliner right away.
3/you do not need 1500 hours in Europe but you do in Canada.
what do you guys think? Are those info correct? Is there any other variable that I should consider (obviously the place where she wants to live…) before choosing the location for the school?
Thank you for your assistance
