I have just turned 60 and suffer from Atrial Fibrillation controlled by medication, could I still get a unrestricted medical in the UK for a PPL(H)?

Can anyone help me with my question regarding Atrial Fibralation at the age of 60 and wanting to get a PPL?

First go to the CAA website and look at their guidance. You only need a LAPL, I suppose? Then talk to an AME. A class two might be possible but this isn't the place to ask. Talk to the person who would actually be issuing the medical.

I am over 60, suffer from atrial fibrillation and hold a class one medical with an OML. Therefore, I would suspect it should be possible to obtain a medical certificate covering a PPL(H) subject to certain medical checks. As the previous poster stated, there is a lot of relevant information in the medical section of the CAA website.
