As someone wishing to return to private flying having left behind commercial flying a while back can I use the NPPL American requirements even although I hold an ATPL. The only valid rating will be SEP. If so is this something one’s own GP can do or does it still need to be via an AME. To be clear I am asking for a friend 😂
