Between the mandatory hat and robust bodily girth, the only way I can picture a Texan in a Robbo is as a sling load. :E

And remember they have both kinds of music down there - Country, and Western - homage to the Blues Brothers:)

How many times have folks thrown Robbie's at Rock?

Excepting gung ho capers IMC, I think the ground has caught more Robbies in its unyielding arms than Robbies have flung themselves in them. CFIT comes some way down the list of crash causes after aircraft mismanagement: Running out of power/overpitching; carb icing and RRPM decay (now rare thankfully); mast bumping; generally flying like a d*ck in an aircraft that isn‘t very forgiving.
