Good morning pilots,
I have not very clear the conditions in TUI.
Are they basically offering a contract of just 6 months and you need to pay your own type rating?
What are the benefits on that?
I mean I guess we are not even getting back the money invested in the type rating in just 6 months, or maybe there is something that I don't know?

I am reading a the TUI website exactly this :"After successfully completing the selection procedure for non-type rated First Officer, you may be eligible to enrol in the Type Rating Course at TUI Flight Academy and become First Officer B737.

This year TUI will cover the cost of the type rating course. "

This is a part of the AB INITIO job that TUI offers.

Important requirement: you are fluent in English, and you also speak Dutch and/or French.

Your chances become very slim if you don't either speak Dutch or French as a mothertongue

Many people have been employed by them seasonally without speaking Dutch or French, I was this year even though it said that in the ad, lack of applicants force them too. Although I was 737 rated, but with 0 hours.
