View Full Version : Converting to EASA license

Hello all,

I know this question has been asked in various places, so I hope you don’t mind me asking again, using my personal situation to get a more accurate idea of what applies specifically to me.

I am the holder of a CAA CPL/IR and a B737-300/900 type rating completed in the UK. I completed all ATPLs, CPL and IR all when the UK was still a member of EASA, however not the type rating. With the current situation, would it still be possible to get an EASA license on top of my CAA one without too much hassle, ie. Not doing many exams and many skills tests again?

I would obviously want an EASA license to open up job opportunities for me in the rest of Europe, should I look to make a change later on in my career, and would rather get one now if it is still possible than to regret not doing so it in the future.

Thanks in advance for any insight.
