Hi
Wondered if anyone can give me some thoughts of e-learning schools/sites for the FAA CPL written exam.
Gleim aviation, Kingschool, Sheppard air, Pilot training solutions and Dauntless.
All of them say how great they are and why I should use them..Big price difference, for example Kingschool $249..Sheppard air $40..!
Price is not the issue for me, but never the less, is the more expensive the better one ?
I have no idea. So some help needed please.

Most people will say Sheppard hands down. One thing to remember with Sheppard, they are teaching you to pass the test. The actual knowledge may not sink in. I was teaching a class for the FAA that had some King videos as reference. One of the Feds said if I showed the King videos he would revoke my instructor certificate. John and Martha are a bit different. Don't know anything about the other programs.

Also Look at aviationexam.com great site for FAA questions and EASA

I would place Dauntless as a very low priority.

It's a shame that Dauntless don't put more effort into the accuracy of their EASA question bank, because I actually quite liked their user interface - you could set it up to avoid wasting time on easy questions and focus on the ones you kept getting wrong.
