Time building in Botswana?

Hi there,

Im planning go to Botswana and be hired like bush pilot, but, first I wanna get the botswana license conversion and fly there with myself or with instructor around 50 hours.

Some one knows some flights schools or aero club where I could do this?

I have been looking for it and asking for this information without any answer

Only in Gaborone you will find flight schools, but I have no idea if they rent planes for hour buidling. Better chance you do it in South Africa and when you have at least 500hrs TT you try your luck up here

Bots won't touch you until you have 500 total time. I don't even think you could train in Gabs as a low time expat. Give them a call, Kalahari Flying Club in Gabs.

You won't get a Botswana validation for anything more than a PPL. All other validations require a letter of a job offer from a Botswana operator.
