Turkish Airlines 739's delivery

FlightAware > Turkish Airlines (TK) #6900 Flight Tracker (http://uk.flightaware.com/live/flight/THY6900)

These aircraft have been having mods in the US and it seems the first
one is due to be delivered starting in the US today and stopping for a
crew change at BHX in the early hours (one hour stop).

The second one is also due through BHX 24 hours after the first.

However a note of caution as there has been more than one false
dawn but nice to get a delivery through BHX other than flybe Q400's
since Air India Express and Jet stopped.

It got airborne for 40 minutes and returned to Charleston but BHX
disappeared off flightaware replaced by Charleston so I assume another test flight

No idea what has gone on here other than flightaware the second time round gave what appears to be spurious information. After the first flight returned it again was shown airborne on route BHX (11pm UK time) but was not showing on any online radar monitors until about three hours later when flightaware updated itself.

It has in fact now landed in BHX, not too far behind the scheduled TK from Istanbul.

Technology is great...............when it works!

The second TK 739 is now on delivery (really :).

TC-JYB due BHX 00.25 Sunday 11/12/11, currently south of Iceland.

Didn't quite make two on the same day but not bad going.
