Hello. I'd like to find out how to get a sponsor or bursary for a CPL(Commercial Pilot's License) or at least a PPL(Private Pilot's License) either from an airline or any other organisation that takes South Africans, it could be anywhere in the world.. I wanted to post a question because i understand there's pilots registered in this site and I'd like to find out how they got their licenses (Any recommendations 8) ..). I eagerly await any response.

G'day, Sponsorships are very thin on the ground these days. I am not familiar with South Africa but I doubt there's much there in the way of "free" money.

In Australia and the UK, there are organisations like "GAPAN" and the women's pilots associations that offer some financial assistance to new pilots but as you can imagine, the competition is fierce.

How I got mine? Worked several jobs to pay for it all and did it all part time. (Currently a bizjet captain)
