A GULF Air flight to London was delayed by almost two hours yesterday morning after a passenger refused to take her seat and demanded to be let off.
She begged cabin crew to take her off flight GF007 to Heathrow, saying she was scared to return to London and had a bad feeling about the flight, one passenger told the GDN.
The Australian woman, who is thought to live in the UK, was ushered onto the plane by ground staff even though she appeared to be in some distress.
Crew onboard the plane noticed something was wrong when she started panicking and refused to sit down.
She told them that she had recently been converted to Islam by a Pakistani man in London, who told her to come to Bahrain to find a husband.
However, she was apparently unsuccessful and begged staff to let her off the flight, meaning ground staff had to offload all cargo from the Boeing 777 to find her luggage.
